Why summer reading is important
Summer is a fun time to relax and to play, but it's important to also keep our minds busy. Research shows that most students experience about 2 months of learning loss when they return to school after summer break. You can work on staying sharp and preparing for good grades for next year by reading. Try to read 4 or more books this summer and talk to someone else about what you're reading.
